Life happens, but keep us in the loop.

Our cancellation policy to helps keep things running smoothly: If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, we’ll need to charge you 50%.If it’s less than 24 hours’ notice, it’ll be a 100% charge. Please make sure to let our team know about any scheduling changes as soon as possible by texting or emailing. If you’re having any trouble sorting things out with your coach or mentor, feel free to reach out to our administration at admin@1sthonors.com or (213) 549-8207.

Oh, and if your coach/mentor has to cancel within those timeframes, don’t worry - you’ll get a free pass for one future cancellation.

Great (Session) Expectations

Just a heads up - our sessions usually last around 2 hours, but if you need something different, just let us know. Keep in mind that our service packages don’t cover the cost of extra materials, so you’ll need to get those before your next session with your coach.

Don’t worry, though - we can help you get them through First Honors so you’ll have them right on time. Plus, any digital resources we have in-house are totally free for you to use!If you end up not being super happy with your coach or mentor after the first session, no worries! We’ll pair you up with someone new and give you that session for free.

Just remember, if you use extra time in that first session, it’ll come out of your package hours. And, just so you know, any unused hours will expire after 6 months of inactivity unless we agree on something else in writing.

Real recognize (and background check) real.

We take your safety and satisfaction seriously, which is why we make sure our coaches and mentors are the best of the best. Before we bring them on board, they go through a rigorous screening process that includes background checks and internal evaluations. That way, you can feel confident knowing you’re working with someone who is trustworthy and knowledgeable.

And it doesn’t stop there. After they’re hired, our coaches and mentors attend extensive training workshops to make sure they’re up-to-date on all the latest industry standards and best practices. They have to pass all the necessary requirements with flying colors before they’re allowed to work with students. That’s how we make sure you’re getting the absolute best help possible.

And if you’re interested in tutoring services, don’t worry - those are subject to the same pre-hiring standards as our coaching and mentoring services. So no matter what you need help with, you can trust that you’re in good hands with First Honors.

Unfortunately, we can't work for free.

First Honors coaches and mentors undergo thorough background checks and internal assessments before hiring. They also attend extensive training workshops and must satisfy all necessary requirements before being matched with students. Tutoring services requested through First Honors are subject to the same pre-hiring standards.

Payment can be made through the following methods:

1. Online: Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or Bank EFT
2. Phone: Debit card payments at (310) 601-3092
3. Mail: Check or money order to First Honors, LLC, 468 N. Camden Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Payments must be received before scheduling sessions unless otherwise agreed upon. Coaches/mentors reserve the right to cancel sessions if payment has not been made.

Calendar that session, yo!

Coaches/mentors will directly communicate with parents and/or students for scheduling matters. Sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance booking is recommended as last-minute scheduling requests may not be accommodated. First Honors cannot guarantee the availability of coaches/mentors and is not responsible for any resulting damages.

Sessions can be conducted in-person, via Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, FaceTime, or other suitable online platforms.

Due to COVID-19, in-person sessions are limited. We recommend using our online options for the same quality of service. Contact admin@1sthonors.com for inquiries.

Be on time! The future waits for no one.

All parties agree to arrive on time and fully prepared. If running more than 10 minutes late, notify the other party via text or phone to avoid a "no-show" assumption.

If the coach/mentor is late, they will either stay late to complete the full session length or end at the agreed-upon time and charge only for the time worked, making up lost time during the next session.

If the student is late, the coach/mentor may leave at the originally agreed-upon time and bill for the full session length.

Roadmaps, not GPS.

Every month, parents/students will receive a Roadmap outlining the student's progress, milestone deliverables, session documentation, remaining hours in the package, etc. The Roadmap will be emailed to the parent's email address on file. Contact the coach/mentor with any questions or concerns about session reports and assignments.

In the end, this is YOUR homework.

Coaches/mentors will assign tasks necessary for student progress. They will document assignments with due dates and times (if applicable). Parents and students understand that completing assignments is crucial for improvement. First Honors is not responsible for a lack of progress if assignments are not completed.

Enjoyed our services? Spread the word!

First Honors offers a credit (individually determined by each package) on additional packages for current and past clients who refer new students. This will apply to both the referrer and the new client. Thank you!

Safety First!

At First Honors, we really care about the safety and well-being of our coaches and mentors. If a coach/mentor finds themselves in a situation that feels unsafe, sketchy, or just not right, they have the freedom to end the session right away, no problem. Parents and students, we know you get it – safety first! We'll do our best to figure out a secure solution for future sessions, making sure our coaches/mentors are always in good hands.

As far as the law allows, if anything goes wrong related to the services we provide, First Honors’ responsibility will only be up to the amount you paid for those services. We won’t be on the hook for any indirect or unexpected damages, like lost profits or lost data.

Disagreements suck, but let's try to resolve it.

If there’s ever a disagreement between First Honors and a client, we both agree to try and work things out by talking it through first. If that doesn’t work, we can consider mediation or arbitration instead of going to court.
